Seared Coconut-Cinnmon Oatmeal with Fruit Salsa
I had this once at a restaurant and it was so good I had to re-create it. cook a batch of steel-cut oats. once they’re done, pour oatmeal into a shallow baking dish to cool. then stick it in the fridge to set for at least 1 hour. once it’s set, cut oatmeal into whatever shapes you want. pan-sear the oat cakes like you would pancakes or french toast. serve hot w/fruit,maple syrup etc.
